Meet and Greet with Lori Childs & Jessica Bradley Rushing

Join us for an informal evening with two Democratic candidates running for State Representative in Plymouth County. Though they will serve different districts, they both call Hanson home and share a commitment to easing the cost of living. Thank you to Cathy and Jim Egan for hosting!!

Come learn about their platforms, ask questions, and tell them what matters to you. You do not need to be a Hanson resident—anyone from their districts (or beyond) is welcome to show support, meet strong candidates, and help drive positive change in the area.

When: Monday, May 11, 2026 – 6:30 – 8:30 PM

Where: 63 Monponsett St, Hanson - Look for the retreat lot (mailbox #63) - Park along the left side of the driveway; the house is on the left near the far end - Follow the balloons to the front door

Candidates:

-- Jessica Bradley Rushing – Candidate for the 6th Plymouth District (Duxbury Precinct 2; Halifax Precincts 2 & 3; Hanson Precincts 2A & 4; Marshfield Precincts 1‑5; Pembroke Precincts 1‑5)

-- Lori Childs – Candidate for the 5th Plymouth District (Hanover; Rockland; Hanson Precinct 1; Norwell Precincts 1 & 2)

What to Expect: Hear each candidate’s vision, learn about their experience and values, ask questions, enjoy refreshments, and connect with neighbors and supporters. Feel free to come alone or bring a friend or two.
