Priorities
-
Rising housing, healthcare, and childcare costs are outpacing wages and squeezing Massachusetts families. The affordability crisis is forcing seniors, young families, and workers out of the communities they call home, and Beacon Hill needs to act now to fix it.
As your State Representative, I will:
Fight to cap utility cost increases to help ensure families aren’t forced to choose between heating their homes and feeding their families.
Fight to expand down payment assistance programs so more working families can afford to buy homes and build long-term stability in their communities.
Fight to expand healthcare caps in order to limit out-of-pocket healthcare costs.
-
Local governments are struggling to maintain essential services as costs rise and state funding fails to keep pace, leaving towns forced to repeatedly ask taxpayers for more.
As your State Representative, I will fight to modernize state aid formulas so communities receive the funding necessary to maintain schools, public safety, and core services without asking tax payers to approve 2 ½ overrides.
-
Standing with working families means standing with unions that fight for fair pay, safe workplaces, and collective bargaining rights. As the daughter of union members, I grew up seeing firsthand how unions provide families with stability, dignity, and opportunity—and I will always stand with Labor.
As your State Representative, I will be a strong advocate for labor unions and protect the right to organize, bargain collectively, and secure fair wages and safe working conditions.
Working for our towns.
Fighting for our future.
