Moderating a Truman National Security Project Panel

Hey everyone, Jessica Bradley-Rushing here. Yesterday, I had the honor of moderating a panel hosted by the Truman National Security Project, an organization which is near and dear to my heart, reflecting on Afghanistan five years after the fall of Kabul. I spent the last five years working on Afghan relocation efforts, and I know that immigration is a divisive issue in this country right now. But what I also know is that I do not support the ICE actions that we have seen all around the country and across the Commonwealth targeting vulnerable people, many of whom are here with legal status, including some Afghans who I've worked to help. The Massachusetts state legislature recently passed the Protect Act, which is a good step in making sure that our immigrant communities are safe. If I'm elected to represent the 6th Plymouth as your state legislator, I will always support our immigrant communities and work to protect our immigrant neighbors.
