Another school shooting. Another community in mourning. Today, it’s Oregon.
My heart is with the families, students, and educators facing the aftermath of this senseless tragedy. I will keep working for smart gun safety laws, and I will oppose any effort to weaken the protections we have.
Fourteen years after Sandy Hook, our kids deserve real progress.

Never in the history of the 6th Plymouth District has a woman held this seat. I’m running to change that.
Join us in fighting for more women in office at Women for JBR, a day of visibility and canvassing to elect Jessica Bradley Rushing as our next State Representative.
Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll will speak at 12:30pm!
Bring a friend and come ready to make a difference!

This week the Federal Highway Administration reported that the existing Powder Point Bridge is not eligible to be added to the National Historic Register. The bridge needs repair, and I’ve been working on issues like this since my days in Congressman Bill Keating’s office. There’s no easy answer here, but as your State Representative, I will work hard to find the right solution for the beach, for the town, and for our community.

In a labor union, women and men get the same pay for the same work at the same level, and it eliminates the gender wage gap. It's one of the reasons why I'm such a strong supporter of labor unions and why I want to see labor unions strong, growing, and have the ability to provide their members with fair pay at every level for every person.

I am a daughter of a school nurse and a letter carrier, both union reps. I grew up knowing unions built good lives for families like mine. And I am proud to have the support of so many local unions as I run for State Rep in the 6th Plymouth!

There has been a massive uptick in ICE activity across the South Shore and South Coast — My opponent has filed legislation that would let local law enforcement cooperate with ICE. As your State Rep, I would never support that. This is something I strongly oppose and condemn. We do not need federal law enforcement snatching innocent people off our streets.

The day I learned I’d been selected as an American Service Fellow was one of my proudest days in recent memory. I am so excited to leverage everything I’m learning in this program to be a better public servant for the residents of the 6th Plymouth!

Out this morning at the Pembroke Community Center for the Farmers Market!
This community center is one of the jewels of Pembroke, and I was grateful to work with Congressman Bill Keating to help get this project over the finish line.
As your State Representative, I'll keep working with our federal partners and Select Boards to bring the right infrastructure to all of our towns.

The events of 9/11 had a profound impact on me and truly changed my trajectory, leading me to enlist in the Army just a few months later. As we mark this 25th anniversary, join me in remembering the lives lost and the selfless acts of courage and heroism we saw that day, as well as reflecting on the changes wrought that day that have shaped this country and the world over the last 25 years.

Yesterday I had the honor of moderating a panel hosted by the Truman National Security Project, reflecting on Afghanistan five years after the fall of Kabul.

Halifax's recent water shutoffs left families and businesses without water while crews worked around the clock repairing multiple water main breaks, yet another reminder that our infrastructure can't keep running on emergency fixes. Clean water is a basic right, not a luxury, and I’m proud to have the endorsement and support of of the Environmental League of Massachusetts.

People often ask me my thoughts on the audit, so here they are. We deserve transparency in government and we shouldn’t politicize that. I support the audit and it’s time for our elected officials to stop arguing and get it done.
